本研究は,ガスタービン翼等の高温部材の高効率化(高温化)のため付加される,しゃ熱コーティング(Thermal Barrier Coating, TBC)の熱サイクル損傷特性評価および評価法の確立を主目的としている.今年度はその一環として,熱サイクル付与によってコーティング試験片表面および側面で発生する損傷(垂直き裂および層間はく離き裂)の定量化に際して,科研費設備備品費により購入した(株)キーエンス社製高精細マイクロスコープVH-5000一式を,従来は走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)にてしか行えなかった熱サイクル付与後の試験片損傷観察に適用することを試みた.熱サイクル試験としては,異なる二種類の雰囲気(大気雰囲気中および真空雰囲気中)での長時間高温保持(1000℃-22時間加熱, 2時間冷却)熱サイクル試験である.またコーティングの種類としては,既に実機に適用されている二層構造コーティングに加えて,コーティング厚さ方向の組成が連続的に変化する傾斜組成コーテ
